InternalFusion
InternalFusion has worked professionally in the fire arts for five years. That work spans a wide range of props — short staves, staff, poi, dragon staff, fire eating and hand torches. Each prop carries its own character of movement, and long experience with them means a programme can be built around the particular space and mood of an event in Sofia.
Combinations of props hold a special place. Short staves with a long staff, short staves with hand torches, poi with hand torches — each pairing opens up a different dynamic and gives the show a change of rhythm. It is a direction InternalFusion develops deliberately, rather than sticking to a single prop.
The practice is not limited to fire. InternalFusion also works with daytime props — juggling balls and clubs — as well as all the fire props in practice versions. That means the routines can be performed without flame when the venue or the hour calls for it, with the same attention to technique and clean movement.
